3 Lincecum strikes out FOURTEEN in a complete game shut-outI
4 Nice start to the playoffs.
5 AMAZING!!!!
6 I don’t want to say much more right now, because the feat itself does all the talking.
7 But truly.
8 Let’s do it again tonight. I remember the ’93 season when the Giants won 103 games and didn’t even make it to the playoffs. We had to sit and listen to the OBNOXIOUS “Tomahawk Chop” through that agonizing season. My wish was always for us one day to get the ups on ATL and for OUR stadium to stand up and give them the “Tomahawk Chop”.
9 Well, I’m guessing that the panda hats, long hair hats, beards, orange towels, and even Huff thongs are probably just as idiotic and obnoxious.
10 GOOD.
11 Fine time.
12 Beyond all that, the Giants continue to amaze me this summer. Or now, this fall.
13 It’s the only Bay Area sports team that looks like a legitimate winner. Even if we lose from here, we have won.
14 And I’m going to enjoy every minute of it!
15 Hey ATL! I have one word for you.
16 TORTURE!
17 Moving on, Part the First: Sticking with these Giants, because at this point, if you aren’t watching, then you’re missing out on one of the grandest times in Bay Area history.
18 A little over a month ago, I thought Lincecum might have been washed up. I thought he may have peaked, and that his body probably threw all the pitches it could throw. I was feeling the poor guy’s agony. For a moment, I thought he was possibly the proverbial flash in the pan.
19 No more.
20 Great game.
21 I’d love to say a HECKUVA lot more, and actually had another entire DN written for today, but this story shook the entire planet last night.
22 I heard that in New York, people were lined up outside of bars to watch our Giants.
23 So I’m going to enjoy this for all it’s worth!
24 Unfortunately, I’m running out of time this morning, so I’m going to have to cut it short. I’ll let this weekend’s baseball talk. We could be on top of the world, or experiencing torture. Who knows?

26 It’s right there for all of us to enjoy, so if you haven’t yet, come joint the Giant party! It’s really entertaining, and REAL!
27 Well, I gotta bounce. I just want to send out a happy birthday to one of Lincecum’s main heroes, John Lennon. Random, yes, but there IS a major connection.
