1 I love how swiftly people decide that we have an epidemic2 Insta-panic.
3 I'm not quite sure as to what we are supposed to make of all of this, but it sounds like another of a series of scares that someone keeps wanting to throw our way.
4 The sad thing is that the entire thing gives pigs a bad name.
5 I went and searched for pictures of pigs, and you know, they're a pretty fine little animal. These guys are cute, if I may be so bold as to use the word.
6 I'm hearing people saying things like, "If you're not wrestling around with them, then you don't need to worry!"
7 The prejudice against pigs is pretty horrid. They're one of the smartest animals around, and can remain pretty clean when they are treated right.
8 I've seen more feral cats around that I'd be a heckuva lot more worried about. You don't know WHERE those guys have been.
9 I remember when the Drama Workshop "adopted" one of those little cuties a few years ago. The little guy panicked and climbed into one of those closets. I remember trying to be the fireman-sorta dude, and opened the closet to coax the little fellow out.
10 Suddenly he turned ha-UGE and charged right at my eyeballs, screeching and growling like a taunted beast. I almost dropped over right there, but we wound up chasing the guy around the Piano Lab, ultimately watching as he turned the corner and bolted out the door leading to the wrestling room.
11 Serious scratches.
12 I can't help feeling that if that guy had been a pig, everyone would have taken to him, because pigs are darned charming when you're not eating them.
13 So yeah, right now, it might be okay to chill and not go overboard.
14 Moving on: Such a tough ending to a great year, Sharks' fans. Still, it's always good to give your team applause; they made some great strides this year and simply got beaten by a team that came to play harder than they did. Maybe they'll learn, who knows? I think the idea might be NOT to win the President's Trophy and come in the eighth or ninth seed, and then gather momentum toward the end.
15 Sometimes a little too much success can backfire, and I think that's what happened with those guys. Head cases, but a great season no matter how you look at it. Hats off to the Sharks, really.
16 And Giants' fans, you aren't expecting much from Edgar and the G-Men this year, which is why it's delightful when they come back and clobber the Dodgers!
17 Well I think I have a time to get to sleep early, so I'm gonna say goombye for now. It's a short one, but I think sleep is a good thing.
18 That way I could join you when you have a cuppa and read all this folderol.
