The Daily News
Fly low baby, it's Tuesday.
I think by Friday I'll have a plan laid down for the week.
Still, I'm all over the DN so far. I wrote this on Sunday night, because I wrote yesterday's on January 3, but polished it up with that last picture right before I wrote this one.
I had all these pictures stuck in my camera, and finally downloaded them, and that picture of Emerald Bay just appeared, as if by magic.
That wasn't a picture, by the way. It was a kiss.
That's why I thought it might be a nice thing to see full-sized this goodly day.
Moving on: I spent my holiday cruising all over the Internet looking up all sorts of interesting things.
On Christmas Eve, I decided to break down and buy some cheapo headphones for my laptop.
Within seconds, my entire world transferred into a spectrum of sounds and information. I got WAY more into watching classic rock videos obscura, some things I had never really done before.
Okay, so there's amazing stuff out there. My favorite was a video of Elton John singing Your Song in 1970. Just Elton and a piano, no glitz. Pure. That was always one of Elton's faves, and he knew it was a special song when he wrote it.
Here.

So simple.
I got instantly addicted to You Tube, which is a very scary addiction, let me tellya.
Great holiday, all in all. First off, I solved the JFK murder, top to bottom, then I explored funny stuff, and listened to some good ol' conspiracy shows from the late Mae Brussell, whose research was astonishing, but who many would label in the "out there" phases.
The one thing you don't wanna do is sound overly nutsy, and when you start telling people that cell phone towers are planting voices in peoples' heads, it begins to either look a little nutsy, or it is a perfect explanation for Britney.
Conspiracies, I tellya.
Maybe the scariest stuff was by this radio talk-show fellow named Alex Jones who managed to sneak into the famous Illuminati hangout, the Bohemian Grove, located up by Camp Meeker in the Russian River area. {{{{{{WEIRD!!!!}}}}}
That was why I threw all those little references to cameras and all yesterday. That stuff was absolutely frightening, and always frightened me because it's reality is so immediate. But it also requires LOTS more research. Just scary stuff. 9/11 was an inside job so they could take away our rights and round us up? Yeesh.
Personally, I like to stay a lot more optimistic about the world.
Maybe the very existence of the Internet is helping get word out about these beasts and moguls who run our planet. Sure hope so. Ah hope ah hope ah hope.
Meanwhile, I'll just listen once more to Your Song.
My soul needs the hope, and the simplicity. It's actually pretty nice.
Ah, let's just see if things get better. Martin Luther King once said, "Have confidence that the Universe is on the side of Justice".
Ya gotta hope.
Anyway I'm out.
Peace.
