The Daily News
Meanwhile, I’m still getting attacked by pop-ups.
It’s driving me absolutely loony.
I tried to download something called Adaware, which is supposed to stop these attacks, but it just got swarmed by more stuff. I’m afraid even to think for a gazillionth of a second, because I may be writing an entire DN and losing it within seconds.
So things are going quite fast these days.
In some ways, it’s pretty nice, because I have had lots of e-mails lately, and what this does is it not only sends me a whole bunch of stuff I couldn’t care less about, but when I am writing someone back, it suddenly shifts, and if I have another letter going, the second half of my sentence winds up being mailed to THAT guy. So, in essence, I can write TWO different people on one e-mail.
Oh, well. What can you do?
It’s like, there are way worse things, so I ain’t trippin’.
So Star Wars peeps: hope you’re all into it. Good times, good times.
Tonight begins our second round of the Pigeon Players’ The Importance of Being Earnest at 8 p.m. The price is FREE, with a donation please. It runs tonight, tomorrow night, Saturday night, and Sunday at 3, so come one, come all, and bring friends!!! Great show!
And next Friday night is the Senior Ball, or Prom, or whatever we wanna call it. We’ve been referring to it in discussion as “Prom”, but in posters as “Ball”. Either way, we have now over 80 bids and close to 170 people attending. It’s going to be the dance to beat all dances. The extravaganza happens at the beautiful Decathlon Club in Santa Clara, a breezy, beautiful facility with running brooks, twinkly lights, a skylight, yummy desserts, TWO dance floors, a red carpet, sparkling cider entrance, party favors, and a romantic, memorable night sponsored by the very wonderful Class of ’05, MY class, my awesome Senior Class, and it should be the epitome of everything we have come to be. Buy bids TODAY at the bottom of the steps!!! But don’t hesitate; it’s filling up fast!!!
Yesterday, Thuy Ann and I went over to Piedmont and gave Mr. Moser his finished collage, AND invited him to Prom. Unfortunately, he wasn’t there, but it was sort of fun knowing we had gotten the invite over to him. We told his secretary that YB says “Hi”.
The pop-ups seem to have calmed a bit, so it looks easier to get this out there. Whew.
Okay, here’s a tip: don’t EVER download something called Aurora. I’m not sure if they are into casinos, dates, Napster, or funny little cartoon fruits that ask if you are experiencing obnoxious pop-ups, but I’d stay away from those guys.
So okay, I’m thinking it’s time to get out of here.
I’ll get on this at some point. Anyway, hope to see you all at the play!
Peace.
